This Can't Be Real

PROTOTYPE
"ZEUS!" Dana yelled as she watched him growl in pain. She saw a silver blade stab threw his stomach and a black liquid pour out of his stomach. "These stupid Blackwatch." He snarled as he turned his arm into a blade and cut off the head of  former Blackwatch member. She watched as blood shot out of the neck and the head falling out of the sky, cracking its head open on the blood stained sidewalk, letting out more of its red color. Dana covered her eyes at the gruesome site and felt like she was gonna puke. She felt her knees wobble as she loaded her gun and aimed it at other Blackwatchsoldiers, surrounding them. She watched in terror as she saw them lift up their machine guns and bazookas, knowing that all were aiming at them.
She felt beads of sweat form on her brow as she felt her hands feel slippery, she felt she was gonna drop the gun onto the floor.
"Dana....Be strong. I got you covered. Shoot for your life." He muttered as he got into a defensive stance in front of her. She breathed in slowly as she tried to calm herself and let her fingers wrap around the trigger. "Give me the signal..captain." She smirked as pressed her back onto Zeus. She heard Zeus chuckle as he clenched his fists. "NOW!" He yelled as punched his fist into the ground. She watched as giant,black spikes rose from the ground and sent hundreds of Blacklight soldiers in the air and saw blood spray in the air from spikes that went through the bodies of soldiers. She quickly squeezed the trigger and watched as bullets fly threw the soldiers bodies making more blood spill out into the air. She felt a smile come to her face as she knew what was happening. They were winning. She turned to look at Zeus who was also smirking in delight. But her joyful expression slowly turned into a look of horror. As if in slow motion she called out to Zeus, seeing a middle aged man about in his 50's with slick black and white hair, running up to Zeus with a glowing, needle like substance in his hand. Zeus smirk turned to a serious expression as he turned around to his intruder only to meet face to face with the man. Zeus moaned in pain as he felt a needle go into his neck and the unknown liquid pumping into his veins. He felt excruciating pain tingle in his whole body as he roared in pain and reached for were the real source of pain was at. From his neck.
"Leave him alone!" Dana yelled as she pointed her gun at the middle aged man. Her heart beating faster and faster. The man only let out a soft chuckle.
"Nothing can save him now."
Zeus let out another scream as he coughed up black blood and fell to his knees. Dana watched as black liquid pour out of his mouth and splattered onto the pavement. His head drooping. Dana's eyes were so fixed on Zeus she didn't notice the man whipping out a gun. She a loud bang ring in her ears as she felt a strong force hit the pistol out of her hand. Hearing it crack against the pavement. She let out a yelp of fright as she pulled her hand away and shuddered.
"You almost hit her..." Zeus growled tiredly as he felt his internal organs wanting to explode.
The man grinned at him evilly as he aimed the gun at Zeus head.
Dana quickly bolted to her gun, only to hear another shot ring in the air and to feel a piercing pain vibrate through her body. She watched as a giant hole, in her hand, pumped out a hot red liquid. She let out a moan of pain as she gripped her red painted hand. Zeus head snapped up as he quickly sprang to his feet and in a fit on anger wrapped his hand around the mans' neck and started to strangle him. The man let out a gasp as he tried to release Zeus grip from him.
"Don't ever,EVER, touch or hurt her while I'm still here." He growled as he shook the old man in rage. The despicable man let out a croak chuckle as he grinned at Zeus. "She will defiantly die, unless if you put me down Zeus, unharmed." The soldier growled as he looked at the other remaining Blackwatch.
Zeus blue eyes widened as he turned to scan the small crowd of the remaining soldiers, but his body stiffened when he watched then raise there weapons to aim at Dana.
Dana looked up at Zeus, her soft hazel eyes staring directly into his,  Zeus knew she was terrified and he could do nothing about it. Zeus sighed in defeat as he released the man from his grasp. The moment he did that, he felt a crushing impact against his face and fell face first into the bloodied pavement. Zeus let out a soft groan as Dana called out to him and tried to get on his knees only to fill a foot make contact with his stomach. Zeus let out a shriek as he held his stomach and laid on the ground.
"Stop hurting him!" Dana yelled feeling her eyes growing wet.
"This is what the monster gets for trying to stop me!" The man growled agitated, loading his gun.
Dana gasped as she looked at Zeus lifeless body on the ground. "Zeus get up and fight! Don't give up yet!" She begged.
The corrupt man chuckled again as he wrapped his fingers around his pistol. "You see,Dana, he couldn't even if he tried. I injected an antidote. It makes his power fade away for a period amount of time. And I'm going to make sure that we don't stall that time we are given." He said as he aimed the gun at Zeus head. "Now I want you to watch." The man said coldly.
"No,no,NO!" She screamed as she shut her eyes and covered her ears.
"WATCH OR HE DIES IN PAIN!" The evil man roared as he shot Zeus in the leg and stabbed him in the back.
Zeus let out a scream of agony as he felt the stinging sensation of the blade being taken in and out of his body and the bullet going through his flesh.
"I can't do this!" Dana yelled as she felt tears flowing down her face and teared out a few pieces of her hair, trying to stay sane.
"Dana...you can do this..have strength..." Zeus managed to say as he got up on his knees again.
Dana let out a feeble gasp as she knew what was going to happen. "I can't be strong without you! I need you!"
"No, you don't..." Zeus murmured as he gazed at her softly, feeling his heart beating faster and faster ready to explode.
The heartless man growled as he dug his hand into Zeus hair and yanked his head upward and put the gun at Zeus head.
"All right enough stalling! Say good bye to your pathetic girlfriend Zeus!"
Zeus slowly opened his eyes and stared at her softly as he felt hot liquid pour out of his mouth. He smiled weakly at her and mouthed. "Goodbye."
Dana yelled out his name as the elderly man pressed the trigger. And in that moment her whole world shattered.
A long bang echoed in the air as she saw a bullet go through Zeus head and come out the other end. She watched black blood spray out of his head and paint the pavement black.
Dana opened her mouth to scream but no sound came out. She felt as if her whole body shut down, completely stopped. But her tears didn't, more and more rolled down her cheeks as she looked at the bloody massacre of her love one. She let out a tiny whimper as she felt her knees grow weak and fell toward the ground in defeat.
The heartless man only let out a chuckle as he put his gun away. "How pathetic." He mumbled as he released his grip on the lifeless body and thrusted it toward Dana.
She watched as Zeus head landed face first onto the street and heard the sicking sound of his skull being cracked open as the black liquid spilled out of his open head and made a pool of blood around them. Dana's blood soaked hand trembled as she reached to touch Zeus. She let her hand covered the opening gash of his wound and looked into his lifeless blue eyes. His lips were covered in black blood still smiling at her. Smiling through her. She then let out cry of sorrow as tears dripped down onto his pale face.
"Move out men, let the widow die alone with the monster." The captain ordered as he started to walk away from the scene.
Dana's hand coiled into a fist as she thought of a plan of revenge. In blind rage she reached for the gun she had dropped earlier and aimed it at the captain.
"Cross look out!" One of the soldiers called out as he tried to load his gun in time.
But when Cross managed to whip out his gun, he felt a hard round bullet go right through his chest. Cross gripped his chest in agony as he fell to his knees.
Dana let out a hysterical laugh as she walked up to Cross and aimed the gun at his head. "Feel the pain in your heart? Well, thats how I feel! Except its been ripped out of MY chest!" She screeched as she wrapped her fingers around the trigger.
Cross let out a cry for help and unfortunately help came. Shot of bullets rang out in the air as Dana blood splattered all over Cross face.
Dana let out a gasp for air as she fell backwards landing next to Zeus. Her red blood mixing with his. Cross gripped his chest as he coughed up blood and slowly got up.
"Good job men!" He congratulated, " We have killed the Virus and next his little maid." Cross growled as he loaded his gun and walked up to a dying Dana.
Dana let out a little giggle as she looked up at Cross "We will win."
"Go to hell." Cross mumbled as he aimed the gun at her red covered face.
"I'll see you there." She croaked as he pressed the trigger.
